3D-ULTRASONIC CUTTER
The 3D ultrasonic cutter from Fill enables three-dimensional contour cutting of fibre-reinforced plastics
by means of ultrasonic excited cutting systems.

The principle:
The linear axis gantry enables precise guidance of the ultrasonic knife with low space requirements and simple kinematics.
The Siemens CNC control 840 D allows the trimming device to be programmed like a machine tool.
Tool corrections or path changes can easily be made directly on the machine.
The machine is equipped with a 20 kHz ultrasonic cutting unit as standard.
However, it can also be equipped with alternative systems. The cutter is equipped with a separate rotary axis,
in order to be able to cut tight radii and save other axis movements (5 + 1 axes).
