Basic system equipment features:

Feed belt:
• Highly wear-resistant, forged special chain

Hydraulic unit:
• Feed roller and feed belt each driven separately with their own drive and gearbox. The feed belt and feed roller speeds are infinitely adjustable. Overload protection via speed monitoring and reversing mechanism.
• Hydraulic tank capacity: 220 liters.

Feed:
• The feed roller is hydraulically driven, mounted in a pendulum bearing, and guided by two rack bars.
• Feed opening: approx. 660 mm height x 1,700 mm width.

Hammermill:
• 46 hammers, hammer width: 80 mm
• Individual hammer tips replaceable
• Hammermill width: 1,700 mm
• Rotor diameter: 999 mm
• Rotor speed: 1,000 rpm

Engine:
• SCANIA turbo diesel engine, output of 478 kW, complying with the applicable Euro emission standard
