Steam reduction station Steam reduction station 9,6/1,8 MPa

The device serves as a backup source of 1.8 MPa steam, particularly in the event of a failure of one of the back-pressure turbo generators when there is a shortage of 1.8 MPa steam, or during other special operations requiring the reduction station as a source of 1.8 MPa steam through direct reduction from 9.6 MPa steam.

A total of 4 such reduction stations are used in the Heating Plant's steam system.

Pressure before RS: 9.0 MPa max. 9.6 MPa

Temperature before RS: 515°C max. 530°C

Temperature after RS: 320°C max. 360°C

Pressure after RS: 1.8 MPa

Cooling Water:

Pressure before RS: 3.6 – 3.8 MPa

Temperature before RS: 150°C

Quantity before RS: 14.0 max. 20.0 t/h
